I love the smells of spring and summer. As I walked across campus today, I was caught away by the smell of wet cement. I love that smell (as long as the cement is relatively clean cement, of course). It reminds me of summer sprinklers on hot days.
It is that time of year again: cold watermelon, bbq's, short sleeves and summer reading. I love it.

Funny but last week it had rained lightly and when I smelled the wet cement I thought the same thing. We must be related somehow...
Hi Breanne! I found you from Anna's blog. I've been meaning to email you and see what you're up to and how you're doing. I have to admit I'm kind of jealous you're still in Provo. Well, not necessarily in Provo, but still on campus and teaching. I miss being in school!
Hope all is well! Our blog is nncarlson.blogspot.com. It's really all about our little baby, so it's not too interesting, but there are cute pictures :).
Talk to you later!
Oh, also, I have cousins and a brother-in-law looking for a good English 150 teacher for fall semester... any recommendations? I don't know who is still teaching. I'm bummed you won't be!
Wet cement is perhaps my all-time favorite smell--I've been none to drop to the ground in the middle of the sidewalk to get a whiff =)
